Looking back at 2019 with as smile
New Year's Eve is right around the corner and we would like to take the chance to look back at the past eventful year.
Deployment and development
This year our developers have done a great job, thanks to a lot of passion, we could proudly present our new product Rocket Search. An intelligent search function that can be easily integrated into any website and offers a particularly high level of comfort for its users. In the coming year, we'll continue to develop Rocket Search to make it even smarter.
Great thirst for knowledge
Creativity and learning are two of our basic values. We are always looking for new impulses and inspiration. That’s why 2019 was full of events: we were speakers, participants and keynote discussers. Certainly, one of the highlights was the visit to the Open Data Science Conference in London. Moreover our lectures at the Open Rhein Main, the Frankfurter IT-Tage, but also the entrepreneurship week. Not to forget our own event series Data & Wine. We are delighted that those forward-looking topics that are particularly important to us are being offered an larger stage - regionally, nationally or internationally.
Organizational skills wanted!
The organization of the J on the Beach Hackathon in Marbella turned out to be a real adventure. After winning the competition as a team in 2017 and 2018, we organized the one-day development challenge. Despite good planning, we had to deal with the unforeseen, so that the entire team spent the whole night packing giveaways. We had to face completely new challenges and have grown together as a team. Ultimately everything worked out and the hackathon was a great and educational experience for us and all participants.
There’s no I in team
Besides all the work, it was particularly important to us to intensify the team cohesion. Therefore, we regularly host team-internal events. Together we warbled songs like Bohemian Rhapsody from Queen at the karaoke night, solved tricky riddles in the escape room or demonstrated sportsmanship with mini golf. We have found that a good atmosphere and a friendly atmosphere lead to better results and are happy about a pleasant and inspiring working atmosphere.
Be thankful for...
We are very grateful for an exciting and educational year. All the positive experiences and reactions motivate us to always do our best and so we are already looking forward to 2020! We would like to continuously develop ourselves and our products and strengthen and expand our team.
